Weird, Wacky, and not so Wonderful Knitwear

 
 
Is it any wonder this , male model looks a bit glum as he struts the catwalk.
He looks far from happy about having to wear this strange attire. 
My question is, simply, 'why'?
What on earth was going through the mind of the knitwear designer of this outfit?
