About

I'm Linda Preston, and I'm a former journalist, turned freelance writer.

Over the years, I've written for hundreds of newspapers (including national)  and magazines on a variety of topics.

In-depth research is one of my skills, so as I love knitting, I thought I'd start a blog to share 'all things knitting', with fellow knitters.

I intend to build the blog up to be a 'go to resource' for all kinds of 'knitting information and creative ideas'

So if you love knitting, you'll be right at home here.

Please feel free to submit your ideas and knitting stories for possible publication to: lancsreporter@gmail.com

I'm also interested in old/vintage knitting patterns to share with readers, and would welcome donations, if you have any you wish to dispose of. Naturally I will pay the cost of postage.

And as a sucker for a good story, I would love to tell that you’re exactly right. Like the Roadrunner cartoon character, my hands move so fast, all you can see is a blur. "But alas, like real life kn...
