Simple Slipper Socks Knitted on Two Needles

Fresh off the needles, amazingly simple to knit slipper/or bed socks. And the simpler and quicker, the better for me :) If you hate knitting in the round, then you'll love this amazingly simple knitting pattern for cosy slipper/bed socks. They are knitted up in, K1, P1 rib, on straight needles. Afterward they are cleverly shaped (see pattern) and then sewn up to fit your foot. There are many different ways of casting on when knitting. But the thumb cast-on, which is also known as the single needle cast-on, or backward loop cast-on, is probably one of the simplest. And this of course, makes it particularly 'beginner knitter' friendly.
